CAMI (Initials for -"Convention for Anime and Manga in Israel") is a convention revolving around Japanese Animation and Comics (Anime and Manga), Popular Japanese culture and Gaming (Japanese Console and Board games).
The convention is held in response to the Anime and Manga community needs, in order to supply attraction and interaction for the Summer Vacation.
The convention is held every year since 2009 (with the exception of 2013), and with the years became the biggest event for Anime fans in the summer.
CAMI events have held many special activities, like:
The musicals "The Good, the Bad and the Note" and "Pandora" and the movies "The weird event of X late at night" and "and the Sushi is free*", all are produced by community members.
In CAMI 2014 four of the Director Makoto Shinkai's films have been Screened ("The kids who chase the stars", "Garden of Words", "Beyond the clouds, the promised place" and "5 centimeters per second").
Contents of variety of topics is held in each CAMI, revolving Anime, Manga, Cosplay, Gaming and Japanese Culture.
