HARUCON, Israel Manga and Anime Spring Convention, is an annual anime and manga convention held in Rishon LeZion, Israel,
and organised by AMAI, a non-profit volunteer-run association.
The convention has been running annually since 2008.

HARUCON serves as an anime and manga focues event but has broadened its scope to include all areas of Japanese popular culture.
The convention features a wide array of activities and programming such as:
lectures, workshops and discussion panels, artist's alley, cosplay competition, masquerade, karaoke, video gaming, musical performance and much more.

HARUCON will be held at the Rishon LeZion Cultural Exhibition Center on March 8th, 2012 (10:00 – 21:30).

Organization
HARUCON is run by AMAI (Anime and Manga Association of Israel), a non-profit association incorporated in Givataaim.
AMAI is controlled by a board elected each year by the members of the association.
The board in turn selects a management team responsible for the planning and day-to-day conduct of the convention,
as well as a staff of volunteers organised into various departments.

Pricing
HARUCON promotes a single entrance fee of 45 NIS.
Registered members of AMAI pay an entrance fee of 40 NIS.
(Registration is free via AMAI Infromation Booth, at the entrence to the Convention).

The following lines arrive at the Cultural Exhibition Center:

From Tel-Aviv to Rishon LeZion:
Take the Egged 301 or 201 lines from the central bus station in Tel-Aviv (bus arrival between 15-20 minutes), To Rishon LeZion bus station (Herzel 56).
Take the Dan 129 line from Reading bus station in Tel-Aviv (bus arrival between 15-20 minutes), to Jabotinski 37, Rishon LeZion.

Cosplay Competition
Registeration to the Cosplay Competition, will take place on 29.1 (until the 1.3).
